Seems there is a new Depeche Mode cd hitting the shops soon and I've had a little listen...it's better than what I was expecting to hear! Thought I'd post my fave track from it:
D£peche Mod£ - 1n Symp@thy) If you don't like this track, you probably won't like the rest on the cd. And this is the "poppiest" sounding track on there. It all gets a little darker after that..
And in case anybody missed any of the "unofficial" mixes, here are the links to them all in 3 easy to grab zip packs. There are 34 different versions altogether.
New track from Pl@tnum for ya,should be a biggie and there`s some more mixes to come next week too.I`m pulling a sickie tonight to do a bassline gig.Cant wait. Will be dropping this little bomb!
Im guessing this is going to be the next U.K single.Either that or somebody`s gone to a hella lot of trouble for fun.Especially getting no name producers like the P.S.B`s to do a remix.
Back to the cheeky choons again..In fact I wasn`t going to publish these here because there`s just that little something missing from most of the remixes, but some may like these.Wish there was a Bimb0 J0nes remix.Oh Well..
Ak0n - Beautifu1 (M!ke Rizz0 Funk Generati0n Club Mix) If i was to choose the best dance mix of this, this probably would be the one.Until someone does a bootleg or something. The sooner the better really..anybody got one b.t.w?
I posted the D@bruck & Kle!n Remix the other day and I usually don't post different mixes of a single track, but here is one track that I like so I'm going to hit you hard with it. Hed Kandi is re-releasing it and here's your extended preview. Enjoy. Jody W!sternoff - St@rst!ngs (Toc@disco Remix)
Well, you just would, wouldnt you?.IfU.C.K.me...Dont say it too loud on the mic boys or you`ll upset your manager like i did last week!time to give you some more Brit.S remixes!
I totally agree with Dr. Sinister's assessment when it comes to posting. Since everyone has done a wonderful job throwing their tunez into the mix it now gives me time to really check everything out and post only the crême de la crême.....like these 5 breakz traxx.
Last night De@dm@u5 was in town with Pete T0ng and DJ Red. I didn't expect to be there until late last night and ended up missing all of DJ Red and part of T0ng's mix but what I did hear I loved. I was way too into the moment to remember the tracks but these were tough to forget. Enjoy.
As far as i know, these are all unofficial remixes..Reviews to come later.Ive been on and off the blog all day...aw...so,in no order of preference, some weekend tunage:
Here are some very relaxed remixes of one of the best acts around, Los Hermanos Cubanos. The Cuban Brothers are unique. Born of the loins of seventies Havana, nurtured on a diet of soulful, sexy tunes and inspired by Cuban historical fact and mythology. Miguel is ‘50 something’ but is still as sharp and cock sure as ever. Now he embarks on a globe trotting adventure taking his eccentric performing family, The Cuban Brothers, on the road. He is a loveable rogue but is fundamentally 'wrong'. Miguel is the Uncle and pack leader and the highly spirited nephew Archerio represents his own failings and his hopes and dreams simultaneously.
There`s absolutely no reason why this track shouldn`t do really well...For me, it's as good as any of the tracks that have been in the U.K top 10 recently, and though I`m not really sure who`s signed this or when the release date is, you could bet your bottom dollar the big record labels completely missed this one totally. I hope not!
V Fact0ry - L0ve Struck (D@ve @ude Club Mix) It was all about this remix last week! And I still think this is the best offering I"ve ever heard from Dave Aude...Re-posting cos the quality is better..
V Fact0ry - L0ve Struck (Tr@cy Y0ung Club Mix) I don't normally like Tracy Young`s remixes because of "those" drums, but this is not half bad at all. Compliments the other remixes well.
I was going to post the extended mix and radio edit of this too, but there`s not much point. The remixes have it covered, and I best leave something for the record company to sell!! So DJ`s get behind this and lets see what happens..
Alright guys, it's been a long while since I posted some short megamixes but I've got two good ones today from some Germans. The first one comes from my personal favorites and another comes from G. Schmidt at Musictrunk.
*Spencer & Hill - Flat *Spencer & Hill - So Dance *Spencer & Hill - Young Love G. Schmidt - Mixtape March 09 (5:53) Sidenote, I'll be seeing Dj Red this Saturday at LMFAO.
*Dj Flava & Dj Marc W feat. M Angelo - I Like It 2009 Club Mix *Dj Red - Kick The Groove *Bomfunk MCs - B Boys and Fly Girls (BeMax Whilliam Rise Remix) *Lady GaGa - Love Game (Dave Aude Club Mix)
I've been asked to post some Acid House tunes by DJ Fois in the CBox, so here they are! There seems to be a resurgence of Acidic House releases these days, no complaints from me there! Music is like an ever-turning wheel, every trend has to comes back to the forefront eventually I guess.
Ancient Methods Of 303 - Long Way Down (Original Mix) With a name like this, it was destined to sound great. Starts off slowly sounding as a Deep House tune and then business starts to pick up at around the 4 min mark. Great tune!
Capitan Commodore - Express (Original Mix) Interesting Acid House, sounds very "up to date". Elements of Deep House are mixed in very well with the Acidic flavour, very tasty!
Don Diablo - It's Acid (His Imaginary Friend Mix) You know a genre is about to become popular again when well-known producers are starting to put stuff out from that particular style. Cool classic break at the 2.30min mark.
Alright, since I've posted some new tracks I don't feel guilty about bringing a few older tracks to you. I didn't have these mixes before today so hopefully neither will you. All of them are quality. Make sure you grab the Eric S Extended Remix too, though you should already have it.
I love it when i get a new batch of good stuff delivered..Lucky I checked my mail today as well!Time to update you all on a few Bassline joints then..
V Fact0ry - Love Struck (Dave @ude Club Mix) Not strictly bassline as we know it,but as close as a commercial remix gets.Sounds like there`s a sample from Day n Nite in there too.Best remix I`ve ever heard from Dave Aude.
R0bin S - Sh0w Me L0ve (Reece B Remix) Last but not least, one of the newer producers on the Bassline scene delivers a solid enough version of the track everyone knows. Not for the fainthearted.
I've been listening to the big room mix of this track since Xardas posted it a few days ago and thought I'd bring you the other remixes since I liked it so much. Enjoy.
Last time I had to post this track even though it was ripped from A State of Trance. Now we've got the real thing. Without a doubt this will be on my Top 10 List for 2009. Enjoy.
Here's one to keep an eye on. A guaranteed cringer and a major summer resort hit, if my spidey sense is still working! Feel free to bang your head against the nearest wall while listening to this.
You'll recognize all of these minus the title track and Spend My Money from another time. Since I threw in so many mashups I thought I'd highlight a track we posted before you might have overlooked in the comments (I put it in with the rest of the links now as well).
I'll always bring S & H tracks to the blog as soon as I've got them. So here's the latest two, courtesy of Kopedale. I threw in alternative mixes in the comments. Enjoy.
Part four in the Nu Skool series brings a big post of some quality tunage...
T0m Nevi1le - F@r 0ut Rework of the "Sonz of a loop de loop era" old school piano anthem. Tom Neville getting all creative on this. Mad as a box of frogs!
Time to spin a quick couple of radio edits, both remixes from the Wideboys. Again! One of the pair I think most will like the look of, and the other, well...
These tracks are top notch. I was listening to S.co's latest mix and was reminded of one and introduced to another. Hopefully I'll have some other tracks to bring ya'll very soon. Enjoy.
I`ve had the crystal ball out again! He he..Lets see if one of my predictions will come true for a change..Thinking this should get a U.K Top 20 chart position easy ??
"The tracks on this blog are to be used exclusively for having Digital Eargasm" This track fits perfectly on Darryls description.
Contains a sample from N.A.S.A. ft. M.I.A. & Spankrock - Whatchadoin. In general this isn't my music style but somehow I liked this remix so I decided to give it a try.
I remember this, first time round...Ouch..and to see an update, lets say I was more than curious. But,its all good news.Solid remake with a strong vocal performance.
Aur0ra ft. Amand@ Wils0n - L0ve Resurrect!on (Club Remix) Commercial club fodder at its best.If the commecial jocks push this there should be no problem with a top 20.Especially if they show a bit of Amanda`s flesh on the video!
Here`s a little selection from a folder of tunes I`ve been playing around with over the weekend and "living with",so to speak. Its all quality stuff, and the good news is they all passed the Eargasm test.Repeatedly!
Amand@ Wils0n - Sp!n It Again (masst@ff Remix) My favourite out of this little lot.I can see loads of dj`s loving this, since we get a mention in the song, and with a title like that, there`s only one thing you`ll do.
Fa!thless - Insomn!a (Spectre Bootleg) Ive not got tired of this yet,so that has to be a good sign!I dont take Insomnia re works lightly so praise indeed for this!!
