The blog has been awfully quiet lately, where the hell is everybody ? :)
Anyway, here are three cool tunes. The first two are somewhat different from what I usually post. Lately I've been trying to expand a little bit more on the kind of House music we usually post here on DE, these two tunes fit perfectly well with this line of thinking. Enjoy !
Depeche Mode - Lilian (Pantha Du Prince Raboisen Ecke Burstah Remix)Very interesting remix of this lesser known DM song. This is what excellent Minimal-Deep House can be. This is not new, so don't post a comment to tell me it's old ;)
Pantha Du Prince - Walden 2It's called Progressive House but it's more of a Minimal House tune, it's excellent. It starts off very slowly then get more interesting as it goes along.
DJ Chick - Brazilian DanceYup, I once again decided to add a little Latin House spice to my post, with all those Latin flavoured releases coming out these days, I almost have no choice. :)
by Dr Sinister

The most disturbing thing about this picture is the fact that he looked better back then as a zombie than he does undisguised today ...
Allstars - Thriller (Filthy Rich's Corpse Shell Remix)The best remix I've heard of this tune for a long time.
Lorenzo Aldino & Deep Josh - Wicked Game (Phunk Investigation Club Mix)Good reworq of Chris Isaak's classic hit.
Chris Reece - Vamos Chicas Latinas (Guitar Mash-Up)I decided to add some Latin spice to this post, I just didn't want to wait for my next Latino Heat delivery. Nothing special about this one except for the dirty Spanish woman's vocals in the background.
by Darryl Von Rokk

I'd like to thank the other guys for keeping this place hopping! Very nice job! I have some really cool tracks to bring the house vibe back around! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
*
Lykke Li - "Breaking It Up (Punks Jump Up Remix)"What a fun song! It catches you ear
(gasm) right from the start! Might even make my top 10.
*
Stevie Mycs - "Hey Onkel DJ (English Club Mix)"Anyone who listens to this one might understand why I find it appealing.
*
Sick - "Sick 8 (2008 Original Mix)"Such a weird name for a nice dance/house track. Love the sample that is being used, too. A very nice track that sounds original, yet very familiar.
by Dr Sinister
Faithless - Insomnia (Tommy Trash Private Bootleg)Thx to "eric" for this one, this remix is the best one of the bunch I've posted since last week.
Alex Fain - Don't Bring Me Down (Nari And Milani Remix)More a reworq than anything, uses the legendary ELO's hit.
Afrojack and Bumblebeez - Rio's Thief (DJusky Remix)An infectious little elektro tune.
by Dr Sinister
John Dahlback - Blink (Electroweep Remix)I loved this tune when it first came out, it was a different sound at the time. But things evolve so quick in House Music that now it sounds dated. This remix just put it back "au goût du jour" (up-to-date). Added bass, deeper sound and some new synth lines.
Michael Jackson Vs The Lazy Boyz - The Way You Make Me Feel 2008An MJ remix is always welcomed. Even if it is somewhat mediocre.
Faithless - Insomnia (Partyjunkies Gelderblom Reworked)There's been ton of remixes of this one lately. This remix is somewhat different than the others. I'm still waiting for a remix that would take this awesome classic in a completely different direction.
Eric Prydz - People Are People (The House Moguls Remix)It seems I made a mistake on this one, I fixed the remixer's name. Nothing special about it, but could be useful for late nights.
by Dr Sinister
Cidinho & Doca - Rap Das Armas (Mastiksoul Remix)I know this one will not make everyone's hotlist, but it is catchy in its own way.
Flavoured Mariachi - Club (Black Version)Nice instrumental of the legendary Mariachi song.
Lefavre Feat. Naan - Bombero (Original Extended Mix)Cool house tune with a bit of latin spice.
Marco Resmann - Sao Paulo Lights (Anthony Collins Remix)Nice chillout latino tune. Very cool, great drums !
by Dr Sinister
Villanord - Futurescope (Laidback Luke's Rock Anthem Remix)Good God almighty ! What a friggin' piece of electronic music ! The energy of this tune is remarkable, and best of all no stupid vocal to ruin it!
Van She - Kelly (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke Remix)In a completely different register this time, here is a nice atmospheric elektro song.
The Count of Monte Cristal - Dibby DJ (Extended)Not for everyone's taste, but the Dancehall vocal makes it an especially weird tune.
Katy Perry - Kissed A Girl (Hot Pink Delorean Remix)It's getting ridiculous to see how many times this song has been remixed, but since this one is more on the Breaks side, I decided to give it a go.
by Dr Sinister

Not a Latino chick by any means, but since it's the Olympics, I couldn't resist showing Misty May's fabulous booty to all of our Digital Eargasmers. And for those of you who like men better, I'll try to come up with something as interesting as this, you can count on me ;)
Marc Spirit - Let The Music Play Feat. Evelyn (Club Sax Remix Edition)Very nice Latino reworq of this great 80's classic
Acapulco - Timalada (No Sax No Sex Remix)If you can get people to raise their hands in the air and chant with this one, you'll never be able to !
Carlos Russo - Massive Joy (Original Vocal Mix)Not really Latino if you ask me, but there's a good feel to this one. More of a smooth Tribal House tune.
DJ Wayko - El Mariachi (Astroboy Vs Wayko Mix)Someone ask for another remix of this one, so here it is.
Eso Es - All That (2008 Relight Orchestra Remix)This one is more like a Reggaeton and House fusion, very nice IMO.
by Dr Sinister
Daftrance Vs The Outfield - Your Love (Miamibitch Mix)Somebody asked for a remix of this tune on chatbox, so here's a nice one.
John Dahlback Vs Run Dmc - Blink Like That (Ian Weal Mashup)I don't know why nobody thought of this before, it's a great blend IMO even though I would have liked to hear Run DMC's vocal.
Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl (DJ Arik Fux Electro Remix)Another remix of this one, nothing too original about this one.
Malpractice - My Love (House Mix)Just a cute little House remix of this great Justin Timberlake hit.
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean 2008 (The Dance Heroes Remix)Not our usual style but some people asked for some Hardhouse, this one fits the bill even though it's not the fastest one you'll hear in this genre.
Saving Jane - Supergirl (Jason Nevins Extended Mix)Just a good dance tune, cute title too.
Tegma - What Time Is Up (A Tribute To Klf)At first I wanted to post it in my Proghouse post, but I decided against it because I wanted everyone to hear it. A very good tribute IMO, there's even some Acid House keyboards in there, excellent !
The Cure - Lullaby (Pig & Dan Rmx vs Dj Junior Faria Bootleg)Once again, somebody asked for it on the Chatbox, I found this bootleg. I don't if people will like it or not but here it is anyway. Give it a try !
Toni Rico - Una Noche Con BlurSamples Blur's "Song #2", very dancefloor friendly !
by Dr Sinister

With my recent Latino beauty pics, I felt the need to balance things out a bit ... :D
Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch (James Kayn Remix)It has been a while since I've heard a remix of this song, here is a generic elektro remix for you Eargasmers !
Gabry Ponte Vs. Federico Franchi - Time To Rock (Cabox Extended Mix)This one is cool, great Italian house music. Cheesy as hell but still good !
Savage Garden - To The Moon And Back (Electricm Remix)Ok first of, I hate Savage Garden, but this remix is doing the job, could be a cool remix for people who enjoy Top 40 remixes.
by Dr Sinister

Just a quick comment on reposting. I got pissed off by a comment on Darryl's last post and I feel the need to comment on the reasons behind my frustration.
When we manage a blog, sometimes we may accidentally repost a song that was already posted by another resident DJ. Oftentimes It happens when we don't have much time and want to make a quick post. Since we don't spend the entire day watching the blog, some of the posts made by the other DJs may go unnoticed by us. So if you find a repost now and then, just tell us and get on with it. The fact that the same song is posted twice doesn't diminish its quality. So please no unnecessary comments, because we don't do it on purpose. With the quantity of stuff we post here on DE it is bound to happen sometimes and for that I am (we are) sorry.
Enjoy the blog nonetheless !

*
Xinobi - "Losing Sight (2008 Original Mix)"I just posted another tune by this artist yesterday, but I really think I should share another kicker of his! This electro-house monster samples
Jean Beauvoir - "Feel the Heat" I give him high marks for remixing an older tune that I've heard no one else do. This is definitely someone that I'll be keeping an eye on.
*
DJ Kittles - "Da Beat (2008 original mix)"Sweet-ass House track guaranteed to keep the groove going!
*
Daisy Dee - "Crazy (Sam Gee Remix)" Nice electro update to this club classic.
*
Anon - "Altern 8"Kick-ass progressive thumper.
Dr. Sinister is more of the Prog-pro, so when I come across one that moves me, like this one does, I'm going to throw it up on here.
*
Fake Blood - "Mars" I've been debating whether to share this one or not. I'm not sure how to catagorize this one. I suppose it could be Electro/Tech/Breakz...or some such thing. But maybe I'm just over-thinking it. It does use a few odd sounds, which is good. I'm sure some will find it interesting...and the only lyric in the song is a one word sample from
M.A.R.R.S. - "Pump up the Volume." Can you guess which word?
*
Dye Witness - "Only If I Had One More (Nu Remix)"Hard-House, at it's best.
by Dr Sinister
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Deadmau5 Remix)Here is a nice remix by one of my favourite house producer. It retains all the coolness of original but with an updated sound, very progressive in its approach, very cool indeed !
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (Cryptonites Remix)Very dirty sounding remix of this great classic, heavy bass and a distorted electronic guitar makes this one sound very nice. The only thing bad with this one is the fact that they didn't use the original vocals. It's also a little short.
Peter Gun Vs. Taucher - DampfmaschinePROGHOUSE ALERT !!!! Damn this one sounds great !
Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence 2008 (Electro Remix)Not the greatest remix out there but it's simplicity makes it cool. The vocal on this song are always great to hear.
by Darryl Von Rokk

*
Xinobi - "Day Off (2008 original mix)"This catchy electro-house track is going right into my top ten for this year.
*
666 - "Devil (2008 Electro Remix)Nice electro-house update on this hard-house classic!
*
Crossfire - "Lady (2008 extended mix)"This is top40 material that has a nice party vibe to it. This should fit onto any hip-house dancefloor.
*
Ce Ce Peniston - "Finally 2008 (The Kam Denny & Paul Zala Remix)"Finally! A electro-house remix of this song that will allow me to finally enjoy this song!
by Darryl Von Rokk

Here is cool song to throw on when the party is just about ready to start. This lets the crowd know what they shouldn't do!
*
Andre Harris - "10 Things Not To Say To a DJ"
by Dr Sinister
American Boy - American Boy (Vocal Club Mix)I know that some DJs will have a use for this one ;)
Deee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart (Sick House Remix)It's not a great remix by any means, but somebody asked for this, so here it is.
Dj Lhasa - Heaven Is a Place On Earth (D'Azoo At Night Club 2008)Once again, not a great remix but an efficient one for sure. Nice sound, very good dancefloor stuff as usual from D'Azoo At Night.
Giant Jr & Eartha Kitt - I Want To Be Evil (Spencer & Hill Remix)A very cool tune IMO, and with vocals from Eartha Kitt, it's a great tune.
by Darryl Von Rokk

*
Janet Jackson - "Weekend"Pretty cool remake of the
Debbie Deb hit,
"Lookout Weekend". This was recorded back in 2006, but for some odd reason it didn't make her CD. Thanks to Zachary for hooking me up with this one!
by Dr Sinister

Here is another instalment in my ongoing Proghouse series, I hope you enjoy this one too.
BTW if you don't like this style, don't bother complaining, I'm posting these for the people who appreciate this particular style of House. There are plenty of other posts to keep you happy if don't care for Proghouse. :)
Junkie Xl & Sasha - Beauty Never Fades (Distaff Aka Bs As Deep Remix)Excellent proghouse tune. Haunting vocals and an hypnotic groove combine to make this one a very powerful tune indeed.
Ruben De Ronde & Elsandro - Natural (Rob Lemon Remix)Another nice Progressive tune, the slow buildup toward the climax makes this one very good.
by Darryl Von Rokk

*
Art Fucker vs Peace Division - "Dirty Bitch Sleaze"Slap this one on when you want the freaky people to fill the floor! A fantastic late nite floorfucker!
by Dr Sinister
MJ vs Snap - Power Of Human NatureCool smooth Mashup of Micheal Jackson's "Human Nature" and Snap's "The Power"
Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) (Jeremy Word Club Mix)This remix almost makes Ashlee Simpson bearable.
by Dr Sinister

Someone in the reviews has asked for some Progressive House music. As a recent fan of this ever expanding genre I will try to post some quality Prog House from time to time. I hope you do enjoy this first offering.
Solar Sun Feat. Denise Gurney - Tel Aviv Underground (The Southern Brothers Remix) This one has a tribal feel to it, but since I like The Southern Brothers a lot I still decided to post it.
Snap - The Power (Tropical Highlight Mix)2008Here's nice progressive remix of a great classic.
Rob Lemon - Sex In Zurich (Original Mix)I'd really like to know what it is to have "Sex In Zurich"
Michael Mind - Show Me Love (Gap 4 Remix)Good Progressive reworq by Micheal Mind, nice vocals.
Marcus Schossow & Thomas Sagstad - Svamptramp (Original Mix)I decided to post this one to challenge people a little bit, it's a weird sounding piece of electronic music. It sounds out of synch and all but there is an eerie feeling throughout the song that I like very much.
Koala - Imagine 2008 (Extended)I don't know if Deadmau5 operate under a different alias but it sounds like Deadmau5 to me, great tune anyway.
Junior Jack - E Samba (Teo Moss & Jeremy Reyes' E Samba Electro Mix)Could easily be labelled as Latino-Prog House. Great tune to spice up a Prog House set.
Julius Beat & Madstring - The Summer Magic (Original Mix)No it's not a remix of Corona's "Summer Is Magic". It's just a damn good Prog tune.
David Rubato - Deep Inside (DJ DLG Remix)A very upbeat tune for Prog House but I chose to post it because some people may want to experience faster but still progressive stuff.
CL Audio - Boring Cities (Original Mix)Very cool tune, illustrates perfectly what Progressive House is about. Very Minimal House sounding in the first minute but it gets better as the song progresses.
Chainside - I Would Die For You (Koen Groeneveld Vocal Mix)Once again this tune illustrates another variation of Progressive House, great vocals.

*
The Cars vs DJ Antoine - "Just Needed Time (klaas dub)"Due to the fact that I love both Klaas and The Cars, I may be biased in saying that I think this mash-up rocks! DJ Tripp shot this one over to me and I can't thank him enough.....so I'll just send you all over to his place!

Awesome 3 - "Don't go (2008 dirty freek remix)" Awesome (that's right...I said it!) electro remix of this club classic!
*
Matt Myer vs Southside Rockers - "Rock On 2008 (DJ Sign Remix)"I'm not sure if they are using a sample from

Here are 8 random tunes of different genres. Enjoy !
Brooklyn Bounce - Get Ready To Bounce Recall 08 (Dany Wild Remix)DJ Pasha - Sex Bomb 2008It says Sex Bomb, but it's barely used throughtout the song, I posted just because there's a woman moaning all along :D
Heiko and Maiko vs. Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Rock(DJ SipS Extended Mix)This one's cool mashup, very good use of The Prodigy on this one.
Jackie B - Let the Music Play (Hard Candy Video Mix)Sounds like an updated original version, nice reworq.
Lil John & Fat Joe feat. The Wildchild Experience - Bring It Lean Back (DJ SipS Rap Bootleg)A weird but cool bootleg, well-done though ... cool breaks and all, give it a try.
Lindsay Lohan - Bossy (Mike Rizzo 'Funk Generation' Radio Edit)This one was requested a while ago, the original friggin' sucks, and the remix is just a notch above ...
Ministry of Funk - Ladies Night (Misars Prelude Sound Edit)Typical MOS remix, nothing new but very effective on the dancefloor.
Wareika - Riders on the StormChillout reworq of the famous Doors song.
by Darryl Von Rokk

Scheduled for an October release is a new CD called
Johnny Cash Remixed, which features such artists & remixers as Snoop Dogg, Pete Rock, Kennedy, Sonny J (whose videos I recently featured), and this nice remix by Philip Steir, which I consider the best track on the CD. The record company was nice enough to send me an advance copy to share with you. I guess having a somewhat popular blog will allow us the luxury of such perks.
I love perks!
♫♫♫ | "Get Rhythm (philip steir remix)"
by Dr Sinister

Since I had trouble finding the words to describe the following release, I had to take the following description somewhere on the Net, I can't remember the site exactly, sorry :(
"This is total retro mashup dope in a Beats-, Breaks— and Funksoul-manner. Great sounds from the past dipped in a funky beat sauce. For all the rockers, breakers, hip hopers and bigbeat headz out there."
Big M Bootie - Crazy LegsGreat tune, I am not able to find the original of that remix, maybe someone could help? :)
Big M Bootie - HistorySamples Sam Cooke's "Don't Know Much About History"
Big M Bootie - SOSOnce again I am baffled by this one ...
Big M Bootie - Mercy BeatsSamples Duffy's "Mercy"
by Dr Sinister

I thought about posting those for the people who would like to add some latin spice to their set. They are not necessarily big hits but instead I tried to post stuff that was not very well known but still quality stuff. Enjoy !

"Jeesh, not another Klaas remix!" Well....if he didn't keep coming up with awesome ones, I wouldn't post them!
*
Bozzi's Beach - "Stand Up (Club Vocal Mix)"This track uses a sample from
Santa Esmeralda - "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" in a clever way, and also has a nice beach-party vibe to it!
*
Nirvana vs Disco Trash Music - "Smells Like Neon Spirit (Bootleg Mix)" "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is quickly becomming, or has already become, one of those songs that has been remixed to death...but this electro/break/house jam could be the remix to end all SLTS remixes! A Killer Kut!
*
Frisco vs Corona - "Rhythm Of The Night (2008 Riff & Rays Remix)"Nicely done electro update!
*
The Movement - "Jump (2008 Alternative Reality's Jumping Mutha Fucka Mix)"One of my favorite dance tunez gets the electro reworq treatment!

Donna Summer hit
"I Feel Love" as only Secret Service can do it! No idea why they changed up the name, though.
*
Agent Stereo - "She (2008 original mix)"*
Favretto feat Jenny B - "First Floor (2008 original mix)"
by Darryl Von Rokk
Here are a few tunez just to switch it up from what we normally post. Sometimes you just feel like tasting something a little bit different. Cleanse the musical palette, you could say. It's just another way for us to broaden your listening tastes!

Take the most tangible aspects of music, candy-coat them and light them on fire. That is the only way to picture the sound of Neon Hitch. Born to a family of gypsies deep within the countryside in the south of England, Neon Hitch holds a personal her-story that most creative geniuses dream about having.
♫♫♫ | Neon Hitch - My Book
Neon identifies her style with early Nelly Furtado (before the hot pants and Timbaland), only with that ethereal something she likes to relate to her gypsy roots. Neon has shared stages with artists like the Streets and 50 Cent, but is also presently the flatmate of Amy Winehouse, a friend who is also her industry confidant. Her songs shift from slick electro-pop to Hip-Hop infused chamber music.
The next 2 are hip-hop tunez to keep an ear(gasm) out for!
♫♫♫ | Kallil Giovanni - "Da Baddest" ♫♫♫ | Kevin Rudolf feat. Lil Wayne - "Let It Rock"

The final 2 tracks are from a gentleman by the name of Alan Wilkis who's music is very 70's influenced on the soft-rock/pop side of the traxx, and that just give you a good feeling when you listen to them. He himself describes his CD as doing a fair amount of genre-hopping, but is pretty firmly rooted in 70s - 80s soul, electronic, and soft rock music. He also has been nice enough to allow me to share them with you. If you like what you hear, show him some support by purchasing his CD at the address below!

The Kic Pimpz - "No Stopping Us (DJ DLG Huge Ibiza Keys Club Mix)"One of my favorite breakdance songs from the 80's was/is
Ollie & Jerry - "Breakin' (there's no stoppin' us)." This is a decent enough club reworq.
*
Bearshare Bros. feat. Ray - Blue (eurolectro version)"An Electro/House remake of the
Eiffel 65 hit.
*
R.E.M. - "Losing My Religion (Thomas Gold Demo Mix)" Not a fan of R.E.M., but I'm sure there are some fans out there that might like this tribal-influenced house track.

As the right-hand man for Darryl, I don't get many occasions to talk to you guys, so here are some random thoughts.
First of all, I would like to thank Darryl for the opportunity to be a part of this great blog. It all started on the forum where Darryl first offered me to help him with the blog. I then decided to concentrate my efforts here because I preferred working on a blog instead of a forum, it allows for a more "personal touch" IMO.
As I said before, being the right-hand man for Darryl all this time (hence the Batman and Robin jokes), I've been watching him getting both the good-looking women and the glory, but all of this is cool with me and as long as the blog is successful, I'm happy !
I would also like to take the time myself to thank all the people who have been coming here everyday for the last couple of years. I know that we get thousands of visitors every day, and I find this to be the coolest thing about this blog. It gives me the incentive to keep digging the Net for the latest releases, just to please you guys.
Another thing, since I'm not an active DJ anymore, I also get a kick out of seeing active DJs use the stuff we post in their respective clubs. When you really think about it, that's the only place where "House Music" can be truly appreciated for what it is, pure fun and entertainment! Playing the music and watching people have fun is the true essence of both DJing and Dance music in general.
And remember folks, there may be imitators out there, but there's only one blog like ours, and that's f*ck*ng DIGITAL EARGASM !!!! Enjoy the blog !
