E-Mail Tunez

While going through my folders for songs that I already should have posted, I'm also trying to do the same thing with all the e-mail that I receive from DJs & remixers. I really do need a secretary! Preferably one that is extremely hott!

DJ B-Roc & Mr. JPatt, co-producers and songwriters of The Knocks run HeavyRoc Music, a small, independent label and music collective in New York City's Lower East Side. URB Magazine named The Knocks one of the Next 100 in their March '08 issue for American G-Funk, a Jay-Z mixtape released with DJ Benzi. The Knocks have also remixed Katy Perry's "Hot 'n' Cold" and the track "Buzzin" for L.A. hip-hop artist Shwayze. The Knocks and the rest of HeavyRoc have been featured on Mark Ronson's East Village Radio, DJ Roxy Cottontail's playlist and handful of blogs.

DJ Cat not only spins and tours worldwide but she is also an accomplished lyricist, producer and singer. She is currently working with electro punk producer Automatic Panic on her first artist album. The duo's first release, 'The Sound', was featured on Sony BMG's 'OneLove; Smash Your Stereo' compilation mixed by Junior Sanchez. The disc has since achieved gold status. Cat also collaborated with Arthur Baker, penning the lyrics and lending her vocals to 'Ready to Blow', and has also remixed bands such as the Sounds and Trail of Dead. You can expect to see and hear Cat's name more and more as she carves her unique niche on the dance music scene of today and the future.
