I know that a majority of you just come to download the music, but I have a couple things that I would like to bring up right now.
First off: Thanks to everyone who has left a Review of the site in the Review feature. It is so nice to know that so many of you really do enjoy the music that is posted here. I think like anyone else, I like to think that I and the other residents have good taste in music, so all the kudos are such a welcome comfort. We don't feel the need to write fake reviews to make our site look more important than it really is. You that participated clearly prove that. My intention for using that feature was not only to get good reviews, (we had hoped, at least) but to also find out some of the things that you consider negative about Digital Eargasm. For instance....on a suggestion from Ericka, we no longer have the music player set to play automatically. So if anyone else has some constructive criticism, we would love to hear it.
Secondly: How can anyone claim to have the best blog? Did they do a study.....or independent poll? Did I miss something? It doesn't make much sense to do that if you can't prove it. But if that is something you have to say, then say it without putting down other blogs. There is no need for that. If you don't like the site, just don't visit it. I've never claimed to have the best, but I will certainly put this one up against anyone Else's! I believe in it THAT much.
We will also not complain about getting enough comments or votes with our posts. Those options are only there for your convenience. If you feel the need to do either, it is completely up to you. You are here for great dance remixes, or else you wouldn't keep coming back for more. Our daily visitors continue to grow, so I will only start to worry if it goes down.

I'm a bit disappointed in it actually, but perhaps it will grow on me...

Digital Eargasm (for me at least) is the original remix blog, and by far the best.
You don't complain or force people to leave comments, or tell them you're going underground "OR ELSE".

I agree with you richard. I saw the post in question and i cringed a little. It's a bit selfish to say all the other blogs are shit and yours in the best when you dont have a lot of facts to base it on...
Anyway, good work on the site Darryl + Co. Keep it up, and never let another site dictate your actions!

I am one of those people that does not leave comments a lot of the time, for that I apologize and I will try my best to remember to leave comments. OK.. this is my first comment here .. but HEY I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS BLOG .. this is my welcome page at home and even at the office .. Im mixing in an afterhours in Saguenay (QUEBEC) and I always play 2-3-4-5 tracks coming from this blog in every sets .. a BIG THANK YOu and Keep on posting nice music .. and I know that that you wrote that you don't have to prove that you have the best blog .. and .. thats TRUE. comments are interesting and the music is always worth the time we have to wait through zShare !!

All i can say is that if Digital Eargasm isn't the best blog out there, then it's right up there with them.

I certainly didn't want to imply that we were the best. There are many more that could make that claim. There is no doubt that I am biased when it comes to this place, because I am posting music that I would want to find if I were to visit another site and didn't have access to this music!
I do have to say that I don't feel the same anymore when it comes to another place saying they are #1 or the best. Obviously they are going to say that or they wouldn't have a blog in the first place. We all can exist together, and I've reserved myself to just not worry what others say or do. Considering what is being said in the REVIEW widget, it has made me feel really good about this place and the great people that visit it!
