Since the early '90s, when he first emerged as a member of Lunatic Fringe and in-house producer at Moonshine Music, Dave Audé has progressed through a variety of sounds and styles. If you caught him at the turn of the 20th century, you would have heard rapid-fire tempos of 135 beats-per-minute and upwards. But nowadays, Dave prefers to stretch out, take his time, and explore more nuances. "My sound is always changing," he admits. "It's whatever is exciting me, production-wise and musically."
But regardless of the specifics, Dave consistently picks records of substance, with staying power to stick in the memory past Sunday morning
