Lisa Chilcott, aka Lisa Pin-Up, is considered by many to be the queen of Hard House. Lisa Pin Up has managed to be hugely respected for her Hard House playlist, but at the same time she has made it as an overground, commercial star that can fill venues in each and every town and city in the country and across the World! Lisa has played at every major club event in the UK, at every major festival from the Gatecrasher Summer Soundsystem to Godskitchen Global Gathering, far from least she has consistently rocked Ibiza to its very foundation summer after summer! Lisa is also a successful business woman running two of her own record labels: Rock Hard Recordings and Cuttin Soundz, making her the busiest female artist around. Last and no means least Lisa has released numerous compilation albums some of which achieved gold discs for their sales!

As I have mentioned before, every now & then I plan to go off the beaten path and feature some rock n roll because, hey...I ain't got any other place to put it. So please allow me to indulge myself here...as I feature a group that actually helped plant the seed that grew into my love for dance music. Sounds odd, I know...but once you hear the boogie party-rock that these guys put out, you'll see why.

Back when I first starting getting into music I tended to lean toward any song that the percussion really stood out on...and these guys had a lot of that. I know a lot of you will be familiar with the 2nd song, which Motley Crue covered in the 80's, but I really want you to check out the 1st one...especially the use of air-drums at the end of the song. It's my 2nd favorite rock'n'roll song of all time.

With my favorite movie from last year winning the Oscar for best picture I thought that I would post a song that dealt with race, as Crash does...so why not share a song by a white group that tries to get all Public Enemy on our asses!

George Hatiras is one of today's most accomplished and in-demand house music artists. His many roles include DJ, producer, remixer, label owner and promoter.

Hatiras started out as a party promoter in the early 1990's. His company, Liquid Adrenaline grew into one of North America's largest promotion companies with over 40 distinct events in arenas, boat cruises, hotel suites, warehouses and night-clubs. His events averaged 5,000 patrons and peaked at over 10,000.

Following his role as a promoter Hatiras began producing music for the masses attending his events. In 1998 he signed to Bad Boy Bill's Chicago based label IHR and released his track 'Digital Doom'. The track was an instant success and received heavy support from top European DJs. His subsequent releases continued to gain momentum however it wasn't until his third release in 2001, 'Spaced Invader', that the world got to know Hatiras.

As a remixer Hatiras has been recruited to rework music by Kylie Minogue, Loleatta Holloway, Junior Jack, Ministers De La Funk, Olav Basoski, Carole Pope and The Bomfunk MCs to name a few. His zany remixes have been featured on many of the biggest labels in the dance music world including IHR, Azuli, Defected, Manifesto, Ministry of Sound, Parlophone, V2 and Sony. Building on all of his success and understanding of the music industry, Hatiras launched his own record label, Blow Media in 2004. Besides his solo career, Hatiras has been collaborating with the talented musician and vocalist Jaxon to form the duo known as Hatjak.

Along with his constant touring, productions, remixes, his role in Blow Media, Hatjak, and his mission as one of the driving forces behind electronic music, Hatiras is always looking for a way to break the rules and do things differently. Not satisfied with following the common path, Hatiras is destined to continue to tread new ground and make even larger marks in the future.

I purchased my Sirius radio when I found out that the great Howard Stern was moving his radio show there, and I haven't looked back! I rarely turn on "Testicle Radio" (a term coined by Stern - a play on words with Terrestrial Radio) anymore...and the following song is one reason why. With every radio station playing the same songs all the time there is no way that I would have heard this little nuggett....a song that I had actually forgotten about.
